Meet Clint!

When he’s not visiting a beach somewhere, you can likely find Clint Mohring working hard (or at the very least doing a good job of faking it) in our Solon evening classes. Clint started at Catalyst a little differently than most of our members. Individual sessions fit better into his schedule, so he trained with Steph for a few months to supplement running and get ready for a vacation.  He transitioned to one of our favorite regulars in class when we opened up evenings (and maybe just to get out of all that time with Steph).  His quiet, dry sense of humor keeps Roze (and the rest of us) on her toes as she helps him avoid his greatest phobia and lift like He-Man.

How long have you been at Catalyst and what keeps you coming back?

Started with private sessions with Steph in November 2014.  I like that there is something new every class, not the same things over and over.

Way back in the 80’s- He-Man, Scooby-Doo, Smurfs

What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?

Ben and Jerry’s Fish Food- chocolate ice cream with chocolate fish shaped fudge chunks, caramel, marshmallow

Where did you go to high school?

Nashua-Plainfield High School, Nashua, Iowa

What’s your number one fear/phobia?

Besides dropping a kettlebell on my head!  Probably drowning, I love the water but…

Proudest accomplishment?

Graduating college and purchasing my first house at age 22

Favorite hobby (or hobbies)?

Kayaking, boating with a nice beverage, started to bike

Worst gift you’ve ever received?

None that I can think of
