Our Philosophy

We believe in small group training because it combines the energy of a class with the attention to detail of personal training. Most of our clients are 30 or older, and none of them fit neatly into a demographic box. We have runners, former runners, and those who promise never to run; Athletes, former athletes, and those who don’t even watch sports on tv; Gym rats, gym phobes, and those who have memberships at other big box gyms; People in the best shape of their lives, people getting back into shape, and those who don’t remember what shape they should be. Basically, if you have a beating heart and a desire to learn, you’ll fit right in at Catalyst.

Following an initial goal setting/baseline appointment, clients follow a habit-based approach to healthier eating and sustainable weight management. Monthly face-to-face meetings/progress checks are complemented by unlimited email support.
Independent Program
Motivated to work out at home on your own? Need more flexibility than our class times provide? Appreciate the guidance and feedback of a coach? Our individual programming plans provide a personalized program with unlimited email support and optional personal training sessions where we can refine technique and keep you on track toward your goals.

Individual Personal Training
Working toward a more specific goal? Want 1:1 attention? Need more flexible scheduling? Consider our personal training options -- 30, 45, or 60 minutes scheduled at client/trainer convenience. Available in 1, 4, 8 and 12 session packages.

Semi-Private Training
Working out is always more fun with company. Schedule a semi-private training session with up to 4 friends at a mutually convenient location/time.

Mini Session
If you have that one movement that still doesn't feel right, one favorite skill you want to perfect, or just want a little extra instruction to get the basics down sooner (6 sessions is the perfect fit for this), this for you.

Intro Session
1 month Pass
Everyone begins at Catalyst with a one-hour session with either Cara or Steph. We chat about your past exercise experience, look at your movement patterns, introduce/review kettlebell basics, determine appropriate starting weights, and figure out what plan best fits your life. Your intro includes a month of unlimited classes, so you can try all the classes we have to offer and see what works for you!
